Our restaurant was set-up and built in Placentia as a traditional Sichuan cuisine to spread Chinese culture and influence in the area. Due to the lack of Chinese restaurants in Placentia, we decided to develop a restaurant that offered a variety of Chinese dishes. La Kung Fu doesn't just have genuine Sichuan food, but also has wonderful customer service from its staff.
We predicted that we would be successful with our restaurant in Placentia with the absence of competition. However, we weren't successful in attracting customers because of our inability to make the people of Placentia more aware of our grand opening. Please come and join us for authentic Sichuan food!
My fiancé and I came here for dinner on Valentine's Day at night. I'm appreciate there is one Chinese restaurant near my home and the prices were a little expensive. The food was really good and the service was nice. We ordered: Orange Chicken, Fried Rice with Bacon and Vegetables, Sweet and Sour Pork. Fried Rice with Bacon and Vegetables - this one was surprise very good. That is our favorite food! Drink: Fruit Passion Tea or Fruit Tea, which I cant recall the names. Haha. We love the Fruit Passion Tea, it's not really sweet and different tastes. We will visit to the restaurant again some day.
I am Chinese and I am soooo happy an authentic Chinese restaurant has opened up here. Food is legit, delicious. Also, the service was great, very attentive staff. They are trying their best and I am rooting for them to succeed. I don't have to drive all the way to Rowland Heights for my cravings. We had: a choy veggies - delicious enough that my husband who doesn't like veggies was fighting me for them. Spicy chicken promo $1 - to which we added cauliflower, cabbage, fish tofu, had French fries included. Also pretty darn good, came out to $10 total with the add ons. Could be just a grand opening special. Spicy noodles - really good, very close to the real thing that I got in China. I dug into it before taking the pretty picture first.Such a rare gem in placentia of all places. I really hope they stick around. For people who are not familiar with authentic Chinese food, please give it a try! They even took the time to explain the menu as it is pretty extensive, so just ask!
You won't be disappointed. Waiter were polite and responsive. Really liked the vibes of the place.
We have been looking for a Szechuan style Chinese restaurant in the area for awhile. Instead of traveling far to the San Gabriel area, I can finally find a Szechuan restaurant that provides excellent customer service, delicious spicy food, and decent portion sizes. We ordered hot & spicy pork intestine, braised beef brisket with cabbage and west lake thick beef soup and I ended up eating a bowl of rice to go with the dishes. Highly recommended!
1st time since the new name and it was very good. Authentic and delicious. We will be back. Good and friendly service. Great value.
